Opening Reception for tinyATH Gallery: Tonight’s opening is for Tim Root’s Exhibit: “Watercolors and Wood Thingys” from 5-8 PM, and will be on display through Thursday, April 13. Best of Atlanta Comedy Club: Get ready for some serious laughs tonight at Hendershots, starting at 7 PM. Presented by Laughing Skull Lunge and Aubrey Entertainment, this Best of Atlanta Comedy show will bring 5+ professional comedians to Athens. Tickets start at $12 for students and $15 for GA, and can be purchased here!
Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: Rain or shine, bring the kiddos down to Memorial Park this Saturday morning for either Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The breakfast sessions are at 9 AM and 10 AM and are $5 for residents and $7.50 for non residents. Please make sure to register online beforehand here. Afterwards, stick around for the FREE easter egg hunt at 11 AM! The area will be divided into sections by age groups. Get more information here!
Live Jazz Music: Come enjoy a cold local beer and live jazz music at Creature Comforts during their Jazz Sundays. Music will be 3-5 PM in the Athens taproom every Sunday. More information and future events can be found on their website.
Blue Ridge
Annual Easter Egg Hunt at The Groovy Zoo: The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for this Saturday from 11 AM – 12 PM at The Groovy Zoo! Over 2,500 eggs with prizes will be up for grabs, including some Golden Eggs with main prizes. For more information or weather concerns, visit the event info here. There will be another Easter Egg Hunt at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in partnership with the Blue Ridge Kiwanis Club. This hunt will begin at 1 PM and will be located at the church. More info here!
Easter Weekend Wine Tasting: If you’re still looking for that perfect bottle of wine to bring home for Easter Sunday, 34th Degree has you covered! Saturday you will get to enjoy a flight of wines that explore the Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre family. Tastings are $20-$30 a person depending on selections. Easter Brunch at The Tavern: Reservations required, spend your Sunday at Old Toccoa Farm at The Tavern’s Easter Buffet!
