The Historic Athens Preservation Celebration: Join Historic Athens for their annual preservation celebration and award ceremony Friday evening from 6-9 PM. Get your tickets and preview the award categories here! Food and wine provided by The Lark and Expat.
Planets of our Solar System: If you’re looking for a great activity for children, or even curious adults, this planetarium program is a great way to spend your Saturday morning! Take a journey through the Stars Planetarium Program at Sandy Creek Nature center from 10-11 AM. Tickets are $5 for ACC residents and $7.50 for non-residents. Blossom Workshop: Come learn the art of Botanical Imprinting with Beatrice Brown! This workshop takes place Saturday from 10 AM- 5 PM. You will learn how to capture botanical prints on silk and make a one of a kind accessory for your wardrobe or household. Make sure you register here for this great class at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation!
Athens’s Got Talent: What’s better than getting to watch a local talent show that supports a great cause? This Saturday from 6-8:30 PM, join The Cottage at Southern Brewing Company to watch the Athens’s Got Talent show! All proceeds will benefit The Cottage to support their services for child and adult survivors in our communities. To get your tickets and learn more about the contestants, click here!
Athens Master Chorale: A wonderful way to wrap up your Saturday, listening to the Athens Master Chorale joined by an orchestral accompaniment. Tickets range from $7.50-$12.50 and can be purchased here!
