Help I Yarned: At Bogart Library on Friday at 1pm, swing by and help learn to knit and crochet! No matter if you’re a pro or beginner, come learn new patterns and techniques, for free! Visit the library website here!!
Georgia Arbor Day Celebration: At Athentic Brewery on Friday at 5:30pm. The Athens Tree Council will be handing out tree saplings while supplies last. Visit the Athentic Brewery website here.
2024 Big Hearts Weekend: This is a very special and heart-warming weekend in Athens. ESP has their yearly Big Hearts weekend which includes a talent show at Athens Church on Friday, and a black tie gala on Saturday at the Classic Center! The events this weekend celebrate all with disabilities, and the funds go towards supporting ESP!
The Eras Party: Calling all Swifties, the Georgia Theater is hosting an “Eras Party”. Come dance to all your favorite Taylor songs, doors open at 8pm, and the event is 18+. Visit the website here!
Polar Bear Jump 2024: Big Water Marina at Lake Hartwell is hosting their annual Polar Bear Jump this Saturday from 10am-2pm. This years proceeds are going to benefit the Red Fez Shrine Club. So come participate or spectate at beautiful Lake Hartwell! Visit the website here!
Sunday Spotlight Tour: Head over to Georgia Museum on Sunday to see some features of the permanent collection. This drop-in to the museum is free and you can stop by anytime from 3-4pm. Visit the website here for more information!
Pup and Pints: On Sunday from 3-6pm at Athentic Brewery, come see all the adoptable pups from Athens Clarke County Animal Services. This event also is a good way to learn about ways to get involved with ACCAS if you’re looking for volunteer opportunities. Visit the website here!
