There will also be a great watch party going on at Paloma Park starting at 11am with drink specials during the game and a band on stage afterwards.

Celebrate the Olympic legacy of University of Georgia Athletics by visiting the Bulldog Olympians exhibit at UGA Special Collections Libraries from August 30, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This captivating display features original Olympic artifacts, rare photographs, and stories of over 200 UGA athletes who have competed in the Olympic Games, either for Team USA or their home countries. Curated by UGA Athletics archivist Jason Hasty, in collaboration with retired Olympic coach Jack Bauerle and UGA Sports Communications’ John Frierson, the exhibit highlights the accomplishments of 45 individual medalists, including triple jumper Keturah Orji, shot put medalist Reese Hoffa, and basketball gold medalists Teresa Edwards and Vern Fleming. Located in the Rotunda of the UGA Special Collections Building at 300 S. Hull Street, Athens, GA, the exhibit is free to the public and open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
