Athens and Oconee
Book Sale: Join the Friends of Athens Clarke County Library this weekend to stock up your bookshelves! This public sale will be going on today until 5, and tomorrow, April 1, from 10 AM- 5 PM. All funds will benefit the Athens Clarke County Library System. Check out more information here!
UGA Food2Kids Benefit Convert: A great way to give back while enjoying live music at Hendershot’s! Starting Saturday starting at 8 PM, there will be great music, refreshments, merch, and a great cause to support. Ticket information can be found on their Facebook. Tickets are $12 until 8 PM tonight, and $15 tomorrow.
Easter Egg Scramble: Get ready for the annual Easter Egg Scramble at Lay park! Bring the kiddos out for an assortment of games and activities. There may even be a special appearance from the Easter Bunny! This event is Saturday from 10-11:30 AM, and more info can be found here!
International Street Festival: UGA International Student Life presents the International Street Festival this Saturday form 12-5 PM in downtown Athens! This event promotes cultural awareness and internationalization within the community. There will be several UGA student groups and organizations. Leave your passport at home, and come explore what the world has to offer! Learn more on their website.
Spring Makers Market: Two days full of beer, music, local art, and food, what could be better? If you’re looking for a great vender’s market, or great beer, head on down to Southern Brewing Co. Saturday and Sunday from 2-7 PM. Free admission, and you can even bring your furry friends. More info here!
Blue Ridge
Swan Drive-In Nostalgia Weekend: Get ready for a night of nostalgia with showings of Grease, and Smokey & The Bandit! Both films will be shown on Friday March 31, and Saturday April 1, starting with Grease at 8, and Smokey at 9:30. Check out their website for more information!
Meet the Easter Bunny at Copper Basin: Bring the kids out to meet the Easter Bunny on Saturday from 9 AM- 12 PM at Copper Basin Federal Credit Union. It’s sure to make an adorable photo or two- more info here!
Cousins Maine Lobster @ Fannin Brewing: If you’re craving beer and a fresh lobster roll, you’re in luck! The Cousins Maine Lobster truck is back at Fannin Brewing Company on April 1, and this isn’t a joke! They will be there from 1-6 PM, rain or shine. Check out more info here!
