As a seasoned real estate professional, my journey began in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and evolved through educational pursuits at the University of Georgia, where I earned Magna Cum Laude honors in education. Following a transformative period of study at Oxford University in England, I returned to Athens to contribute four years to Middle School education in Clarke and Oconee Counties. My connection to this vibrant community has deepened over the years with my family and I residing in various Athens neighborhoods.
I transitioned to real estate in 2003, becoming a Realtor and quickly earning the distinction of Newly Licensed Agent of the Year with a national brokerage firm. In Real Estate, I found a career that allowed me to engage with the community, explore vibrant neighborhoods and make meaningful connections with clients, and their families. The true essence of my work lies in the joyous moments when clients discover their ideal homes – a passion that has driven my success as a Top Producer and Managing Broker.
In 2005, I co-founded a boutique firm Chastain, Jenkins and Leathers, where my role as Managing Broker contributed to its remarkable growth over 16 years. In 2022, I assumed full ownership and strategically affiliated with Corcoran, rebranding as Corcoran Classic Living. I take pride in leading a small, supportive team with a shared work ethic and goals, and fostering a boutique agency environment that prioritizes exceptional client support. Corcoran Classic Living has earned the distinction of being the #1 Independent Firm in Athens, a testament to our commitment to excellence.
I ensure a seamless real estate experience for my clients with efficiency and a profound understanding of client needs. With a solid educational background, I excel in explaining complex processes, while years of experience enable me to navigate and protect against potential challenges.
Beyond real estate, I am deeply ingrained in community service, drawing inspiration from eight years of service on the Clarke County Board of Education. Presently, I serve on multiple boards at the Athens Area Association of Realtors and actively contribute to various local organizations through both time and financial commitments. Because of Athens’s unique blend of needs and opportunities it remains a city I am dedicated to supporting and enhancing through my professional and community endeavors.
