Jacki landed in Athens, GA from Michigan in 2002 and quickly fell in love with everything the Classic City had to offer—a vibrant community, a local music and art scene, and cool restaurants and shops. Her interest in historic homes and neighborhoods propelled her into real estate and allowed her to serve a niche market in the Athens area. She has helped clients buy and sell homes in the Historic Boulevard District, the Historic Whitehall Mill Lofts and in the Five Points area.
As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and Seller’s Representative Specialist (SRS®), Jacki works with both buyers and sellers through all the complexities of any real estate transaction and guides them through the entire process to ensure a seamless and valuable client experience. She’s an active member of the Athens Area Association of REALTORS® (AAAR) as well as the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Athens serving on the Marketing Team and the Membership Committee.
Community engagement plays an important role in Jacki’s life and she says that volunteering feeds her soul. She was recognized by the Athens Area Association of REALTORS® as the 2020 Good Neighbor of the Year for her ongoing support and commitment to local small businesses and nonprofit organizations. As an active member of the Athens community, she volunteers her time with the Athens-Clarke County Friends of the Library, and at her children’s schools. She’s a strong advocate for the Athens Area Diaper Bank, I Heart Music, The Georgia Museum of Art, Project Safe, Campus Cats, The Dolly Parton Imagination Library and The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, among others.
Outside of work, Jacki likes to drink coffee with friends, squeeze in a few pages of a good book, work on a puzzle with her kids, or enjoy the outdoors either gardening or hiking. She has a Pug named Trooper and an Irish Goldendoodle named Ozzie. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business and is fluent in American Sign Language.
The aspect of Athens she loves most is that there is a place for everyone to live who they are. It is a unique and special town which is why she made it her home.
