Christina made her way to Athens for her undergrad studies in vocal performance at the University of Georgia and studied with Dr. Gregory Broughton. After a 2 year stint of working in Atlanta, she began her real estate career in 2003 as an appraiser first and then as a salesperson.

She spent the beginning of her career as an assistant to a broker and gleaned invaluable knowledge from that experience. As she has moved forward in her career, she has taken that knowledge and has worked to bring professionalism to each of her transactions. She has serves on the Athens Area Association of Realtors MLS Board for 11 years. She was also a part of a focus group instrumental in choosing our current MLS system. In our community, Christina is a member of Watkinsville First Baptist Church and sings with the worship team. She is the lead singer for the Athens A-Train Band and sings with the Athens Master Chorale as well. She is a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Athens and sits on the Friends Board of the Georgia Museum of Art.

Christina is married to Wade LaFontaine, who works at the University of Georgia. They have a son, Guy, and a daughter, C.C., and look forward to watching them grow up in the Athens/Oconee area while rooting on the Dawgs!
